Home Invader Robs Edgewater Resident: Police
EDGEWATER, MD - A home invader robbed an Edgewater resident early Saturday morning, police said.
Officers said they were called to the 100 block of Oakwood Road around 3:45 a.m.
A 64-year-old woman reported that the unknown suspect knocked on her door and forced his way inside when she answered, authorities said.
Police said the suspect then threatened the victim and demanded money and valuables.
Officers said the victim complied and handed her purse to the suspect, who ran away.
The victim was not hurt.
Authorities are still investigating. Detectives described the suspect as a 5'10" white male with a medium build and dark clothing.
