I grew up as a Blacksmiths daughter, and have always worked with my hands. Blue Collar by choice, and Disabled by happenstance, I now live with a progressive neurological disease called Stiff Person Syndrome. I married the perfect man, who supports and cares for our daughters and I as a Professional Musician, and Corporate Event Entertainer, as well as a Master Carpenter. I am a 'Professional Patient', and wade through the red tape of being chronically ill, while trying to help other people do the same. On my new journey to finding out who I am as a person again, I am realizing that having a progressive disease may be the biggest eye opener I have ever had, and I take the good with the horrible daily. My mission is to change perception, and always fight for the right thing...and teach my daughters to never give up, and fight for what they believe in.
