Truck's Side Mirror Strikes Pedestrian on Central Avenue
Police say a 51-year-old woman ran onto Central Avenue East, where she was struck in the head by a truck's side mirror.
An Edgewater woman is in critical condition after she was hit by a truck on Central Avenue East on Wednesday night, according to Anne Arundel County police. At about 6:19 p.m., police and paramedics responded to a single vehicle collision with a pedestrian on Central Avenue East near West Shore Road. Upon arrival, they found a 51-year-old Edgewater woman with serious injuries caused from the accident. Paramedics transported the woman to University of Maryland Shock Trauma in Baltimore where she is listed in critical condition, according to police.
