While reporting from around town, you get to see a lot of cool things. So naturally, I take a lot of pictures. I'll admit that I haven't gotten to do many photo contests in the rural parts of our area, and I wanted to change that. While traveling throughout town for my weekly Patch adventures, I came across my first pumpkin patch of the year. The smell and feel of pumpkins themselves bring back lots of memories during the harvest season. Whether yanking out the "guts" of a pumpkin or enjoying my father's sensationally delicious pumpkin pie, the iconic large orange vegetables always make me feel like a kid again. When I found this lovely patch, I knew it had to be the next featured photo for my photo contest. So without further ado, do you know where I took this picture? I literally LOLed (laughed out loud) when I saw this sign on Thursday morning. It's a reference to one of my favorite movies as a kid, The Waterboy—specifically this scene.
