Blanket Rocketship, a Bernese Mountain dog, will compete in the working dog group.
A local pup is taking center stage in New York this week and showing off his good looks at the Westminster Dog Show. According to CBS Baltimore, Davidsonville local Blanket Rocketship, a Bernese Mountain dog, will be competing in the 2013 Wesminster Dog Show on Monday and Tuesday in the working dog group. CBS Baltimore stopped by Bark 'n' Bean in Annapolis to catch up with Blanket Rocketship and his owners, David and Elicia Brand-Leudemann, while the pup was getting groomed for the show. The fluffy, 93-pound dog is 18-months-old and will be the first non-champion to compete at the Westminster Dog Show, according to CBS Baltimore. Blanket Rocketship is still earning his credentials.
