Riva's David Correy To Perform 'Homecoming' Show
The former "X Factor" contestant from Riva will perform March 2 with Nick Harrison.
David Correy, of X Factor fame, will be performing close to his Riva home on Saturday at The Whiskey in Annapolis. The singer, a favorite in this area, was reportedly born in Brazil and adopted by a Riva couple. His appearance on X Factor gained him recognition for what his website describes as "urban rock"—and Correy is known for his unique blend of hip-hop, rock and pop. Many locals were upset when he was eliminated from the show. Correy's "homecoming" concert on Saturday will also feature Nick Harrison, another Marylander, and the show starts at 9:30 p.m. Tickets are $15 and available online for those age 21 and older.
