The new self-serve frozen yogurt shop hopes to become a go-to destination for families in the area.
A brand new dessert alternative opened in Edgewater last Thursday, offering families a hip and healthy dessert alternative. Sweet Frog, located at 3059 Solomons Island Road in the South River Crossing shopping center, is a new self-serve frozen yogurt shop with an emphasis on family and fun. As patrons walk inside they’re met with bright colors, a playful Motown playlist, and according to district manager Robert Gilbert, the most important thing—smiles. “When people come in, if they come in with a frown, my whole goal is to make them smile,” Gilbert said. “I used to tell other customers, there’s no frowning in this store.” Self-serve frozen yogurt shops have increased in popularity over the years, but Gilbert said the atmosphere in Sweet …

Wonder if this "personal trainer" realizes that high fructose corn syrup, sugar, modified food starch, artificial flavors, artificial colors, sorbitol, and neuro-toxic sucralose and acesulfame are FAR from healthy. Good job fool! more ›
