Friends Say Father, Daughter Jumped from South River Bridge
A man suffered minor injuries from his fall on Monday, but officials have not confirmed the condition of the woman who apparently jumped from the bridge Friday.
The man who jumped off the South River Bridge late Monday night is the father of the 28-year-old woman who did the same just four days prior, according to sources close to the family. Janice Riston and Jackie Hammel, both “extremely close” friends of the woman who apparently jumped off the bridge Friday morning, told Patch that their friend’s father was the man who police pulled from the South River just before midnight Monday evening.
