Crews Battle Car Fire on Route 50
No one was injured in the fire on Thursday.
Firefighters battled a car fire on Route 50 East near the exit for Davidsonville Road on Thursday afternoon. Division Chief Keith Swindle, a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, said crews responded to fire at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Swindle said it took just one engine to battle the blaze and no one was injured. Swindle said a fire investigator was not called to the scene, which means the incident was not suspicious in nature.
