Edgewater now has two Thai restaurants, M Thai Kitchen in South River Colony Main Street, and Carlson's Donuts and Mayo Thai Kitchen on Mayo Road (next to Ritas). The owner of M Thai Kitchen Thanapom "Mod" had been running the restaurant on Mayo Road, but lost her lease earlier this year. She learned that the space where The Fix Deli had been operating in South River Colony Main Street was available and jumped at the chance to remake her restaurant less than a mile away. Meanwhile the owners of the restaurant space on Mayo Road, the folks who also run Carlson's Donuts and Thai Kitchen on West St. in Annapolis, returned as owner-operators to reopen the restaurant as Carlson's Donuts and Mayo Thai Kitchen.
