Lothian Man Charged with Attempted Murder in Stabbing

Police say a man received multiple stab wounds Saturday morning after a disagreement went awry.

A Lothian man was charged with first-degree attempted murder after police said he stabbed another man multiple times following an argument on Sands Road early Saturday morning. Police charged Jerome Otto Waters, 55, of the 5200 block of Sands Road in Lothian, with attempted first- and second-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment. At about 5 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to the 1300 block of Mt. Zion Marlboro Road in Lothian for a reported stabbing. Upon arrival, police said they learned that a stabbing took place a short distance away, on the 5400 block of Sands Road.
