Local Resident Discusses Her First Novel, Writing

A resident of Davidsonville for 50 years, Jackie Mae just released her first novel and is excited to share it with the community.

A local woman from Davidsonville has taken advantage of new digital publishing strategies with Amazon and released her first ever novel, The Ones (The Darkest Series). Jackie Mae, a 50-year resident of Davidsonville and a self-declared indie writer, said she’s excited for people to discover her tale of good vs. evil as a hard-working girl takes on the madness of life and her newly discovered “powers.” Patch caught up with the local writer to learn about why she started writing, why her book is unique and what she hopes for the future.
