UPDATE: Pedestrian Struck, Killed in South County Hit-And-Run
A 20-year-old turned himself in to authorities Sunday evening.
UPDATE (7:10 p.m.)—Police have identified the driver involved in Sunday's alleged hit and run as Stuart James Sohovich, 20, of Edgewater, and seized his vehicle, according to a release. Sohovich walked into the Anne Arundel County Southern Police District's headquarters Sunday evening, saying that he may be the driver involved in the earlier pedestrian crash, according to a release. Traffic investigators will consult with the Anne Arundel County State's Attorney's Office to determine if any charges will be filed.
