Facing Murder Charges, Woman Turns Herself In at Southern Station
Cynthia Lisa Mills, 47, of Annapolis, turn herself in to police in Edgewater after police acquired a warrant for her arrest in connection with solicitation of murder charges, police said.
An Annapolis woman turned herself in to police at the Southern District Police Station in Edgewater on Friday—facing multiple charges in connection with a murder for hire plot, according to Anne Arundel County police. Officers arrested Cynthia Lisa Mills, 47, of Annapolis on Friday afternoon. Police said Mills was having an affair with Wendell Brian Mansel and helped him hire a hitman to murder his wife. Police in Leesburg, VA arrested Mansel in August after he reportedly traveled there for a final meeting with an undercover officer posing as a hitman. Mansel reportedly approached a Leesburg man about wanting to find a contract killer to murder his wife in early 2012, but the man went to the police. A grand jury indicted Mansel on charges …
