New Cupcake Shop Coming to Edgewater
LilyRose Cakes, Cupcakes & Confections could become one of the newest sweet-tooth hot spots in town.
A brand new cupcake shop is opening in Edgewater, offering residents yet another option to satisfy their sweet tooth right here in town. The shop, known as LilyRose Cakes, Cupcakes & Confections, has a large "Opening Soon" banner that stretches across the small strip mall on Mayo Road, across from Edgewater Fitness. While its doors are not yet open to the public, a quick glance through its glass windows shows a quaint little shop with a sofa, some cabinets and an impressive cake already inside. Located at 8 Mayo Rd., the new business’ colors seem to be purple and an off-white cream color. Really would love them to succeed. But I was very underwhelmed. The cost of an average tasting, rather small, cupcake and scone was over $5. So don't see myself going back anytime soon. Mike more ›
