Firefighters battled a car fire on Route 50 East near the exit for Davidsonville Road on Thursday afternoon. Division Chief Keith Swindle, a spokesman for the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, said crews responded to fire at 1 p.m. on Thursday. Swindle said it took just one engine to battle the blaze and no one was injured. Swindle said a fire investigator was not called to the scene, which means the incident was not suspicious in nature. Anne Arundel County fire investigators have charged three teens with arson in a Jan. 21 vehicle fire in Davidsonville. According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, two 16-year-old males and one 17-year-old-male were arrested on juvenile citations. All three teens were charged with first-degree malicious burning, second-degree conspiracy to commit arson, first-degree conspiracy to commit malicious burning and malicious destruction of property.
