Patuxent River Road Crash Claims Two Lives
Police say a woman and a 14-year-old boy were both killed when their car struck a tree Friday night.
Two Davidsonville residents, including a teenager, were killed Friday night when their car stuck a tree on Patuxent River Road, according to Anne Arundel County Police. Carrie Lynn Desmond, 36, of Davidsonville, was killed when the Ford Focus she was driving crashed into a tree in the 3600 block of Patuxent River Road near West Central Avenue, police stated in a press release. A 14-year-old boy, of the same address, was also killed. Police responded to Patuxent River Road for the report of a single vehicle crash around 10:03 p.m. When officers arrived on scene they located a 2012 Ford Focus with two critically injured passengers inside, police said.
