Woman Killed in Crash on Central Ave at River Club Drive
Update: 19-year-old died of head injuries after Nissan crossed lanes, struck concrete post last night.
From an overnight report: a 20-year-old woman was seriously injured in a car crash at Central Avenue and River Club Drive around 9:20pm Sunday (Dec. 12). An ambulance was taking the woman, who had life-threatening injuries, to the shock trauma center in Baltimore, but was diverted after her condition deteriorated and was instead taken to Baltimore-Washington Medical Center. Emergency helicopters were not flying last night because of bad weather. Will update with details as they are available. No details yet if other automobiles were involved, or the cause of the accident. Services for Jennifer Suit will take place at Hardesty Funeral Home-Annapolis (12 Ridgely Ave.). There will be visitation Friday from 2-4pm and 7-9pm. The service will take place at 10am Dec. 18. Internment at Lakemont Memorial Gardens. more ›
