Two 16-year-old males and one 17-year-old male have been charged with intentionally setting an SUV on fire on Jan. 21.
Anne Arundel County fire investigators have charged three teens with arson in a Jan. 21 vehicle fire in Davidsonville. According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, two 16-year-old males and one 17-year-old-male were arrested on juvenile citations. All three teens were charged with first-degree malicious burning, second-degree conspiracy to commit arson, first-degree conspiracy to commit malicious burning and malicious destruction of property. On Jan. 21 at 4 a.m. firefighters respond to the 1400 block of Della Way in Davidsonville for a report of a vehicle fire. Two 12-year-old girls and one 13-year-old boy are charged with arson in an Edgewater boat fire Tuesday night.
Anne Arundel County fire investigators have charged two 12-year-old girls and a 13-year-old boy with arson in Tuesday night’s boat fire in Edgewater. According to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department, the three youths were arrested on juvenile citations and have been charged with first-degree malicious burning, second-degree malicious burning, reckless endangerment and making a false statement to a police officer. All three were released into the custody of their parents. The boat fire occurred in the 1000 block of Old Turkey Point Road in Edgewater just before 8 p.m. Fire officials said the boat was completely involved in flames between two homes. The Hyattsville man allegedly burned his ex-girlfriend's car.
A Prince George's County man was charged with arson after fire officials say he intentionally burned his ex-girlfriend’s car in the Edgewater area. Felix A. Rivera, of the 8400 block of Longfellow Street in Hyattsville, was arrested Wednesday night after he allegedly set fire to a car in the 3300 block of Oak Drive, according to Anne Arundel County Fire Department spokesman Chief Michael Cox. Firefighters arrived on the scene around 9 p.m. and found the car fully engulfed in flames, which extended to a home nearby. It took 25 firefighters about 20 minutes to bring the one-alarm fire under control.
