Brightview Senior Living Coming to Edgewater

Community to offer assisted living, Alzheimer's disease residences near Lee Airpark.

Edgewater has become home to several new businesses lately. Brightview South River, an apartment community for seniors, is one of them under construction near Lee Airpark and the new location of Giant Foods in the Village at Lee Airpark off Solomons Island Road. Tricia Lilly Ourand, corporate director of marketing for Baltimore-based Brightview Senior Living, said the new community is expected to include 64 assisted-living apartments and 26 apartments in Wellspring Village for those receiving treatment for Alzheimer's disease.
