Severn Savings Bank Equips Students for Learning
A countywide effort helped children in need get the necessary supplies for the first day of school.
Schools throughout Anne Arundel County will start school next week fully equipped with the necessary supplies thanks to a special effort from Severn Savings Bank and the surrounding community. According to a release from Anne Arundel County Public Schools (AACPS), the bank gathered more than 7,000 school supplies from its employees and partners to benefit students throughout the region. AACPS partnered with the Anne Arundel County Department of Social Services to match donations with local elementary schools to help kids go back to school fully equipped for learning.
