Medics Transport 5 to Hospital in Route 2 Crash
The age and sex of those involved were unavailable, a fire department spokesman said.
Update (1:04 p.m.)—Five people suffered minor injuries Wednesday night in a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Route 2 and Mayo Road, Anne Arundel County Fire Department Chief Michael Cox said. Firefighters and paramedics responded to a call of a motor vehicle accident at 10 p.m. Upon arrival medics found five people hurt on the scene, Cox said. The crash involved a black minivan and a white SUV, Anne Arundel County Police Department spokesman Justin Mulcahy said. The injured people were transported to Anne Arundel Medical Center with minor injuries, Cox said.
