Wimsey Cove Framing and Art is more than a full-service framing shop. Not only does owner Elizabeth Ramirez provide a play area, Bella's Corner (named after her daughter) for children so that parents can shop and make framing decisions, but she also displays the works of local artists and photographers and is actively involved in the local art community. The shop also specializes in historical maps and other "map-inspired" gifts of Annapolis and Anne Arundel County. The business was started in 200o as a home-based business but moved to the current location in 2007. Special events include gallery openings and art shows.

After my daughter received a large estimate to frame her recent fishing photo from a large chain craft store, I suggested she try Wimsey Cove. I was impressed by the selection of frames, quality of work, cost and personal service received.
So impressed, I brought three pictures I needed framed to the store! Wimsey Cove also hosts local artist receptions, providing an avenue for exposure to the community. I highly recommend Wimsey Cove-check out their new second location in the Market House in Annapolis!
