For some people, even muttering the word “Christmas” is a no-no before Thanksgiving, but that’s not the case for South River High.
On Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. the local high school will host its Holiday Craft Fair to benefit its media center renovation project.
In an effort to update technology and renovate its existing space, South River’s craft fair seeks to use crafts, gifts and a silent auction to increase fundraising efforts.
The event is a “great way to kick off the holiday season, with unique gifts, quality crafts, fabulous jewelry and many other fun items,” according to a flier advertising the event.
Those interested in attending or even hosting a table should email organizers at firstname.lastname@example.org.
The fair will take place inside the South River cafeteria.
Is it too soon to be talking Christmas? What’s your stance?
