Cheesesteak Chowdown: Happy House Pizza

Read on to found out how we were shocked by this cheesesteak!

Well, field hockey is coming to an end. This was our last home game against Arundel. It was a little cool out and my mom said she would get us cheese steaks for dinner while we watched the varsity game. We looked at some places on our list that were really close to South River. Honestly we both kind of snubbed our noses when my mom said Happy House. Many people said their cheesesteaks were great but we did not believe them. We picked a place, not Happy House, then went to play our game. What we didn't know was that my mom called Happy House and since they deliver, they kindly agreed to deliver right to the stadium. After we raved about the cheesesteaks and we found out they were from Happy House, my mom asked me if I knew what it meant to "Eat Crow?" Of course I didn't so she explained it to me. So, Happy House, we are sorry for doubting your cheesesteaks. Also sorry for the bad picture, but we were literally sitting on the side of the field. Ps. My mom said the grilled buffalo chicken sub was also incredible!
Madeline:  I have to say this cheesesteak is one of the best that I have ever had! I was so perfectly, amazingly tasty. When I looked at the cheesesteak I thought there would be too much meat but when I bit into it, it was incredible.  The cheese was melted throughout the meat.  It was moist but not greasy. The bread - OMG! The bread was sooo fluffy and fresh - it was like a pillow and I wanted to take a nap on it. So far, this has been the best cheesesteak.  Happy House gets the highest score so far...4.7
Sarah:  This steak was a surprise to me. I was not told where it was from until I was halfway through it. We had just won our Field Hockey game against Arundel and I was starving. The steak was not greasy, the roll was near perfect and there was plenty of cheese but not too much and it was properly distributed throughout. I would NEVER have thought that Happy House cheese steaks would be so awesome! I am surprised that I found this to be the best cheesesteak I have had on this Chow Down Challenge so far " The Super Secret Scale" tells all at my highest score yet with a 4.2.
