Officers Seize Over $2,500 Worth of Heroin

In the ongoing war against drugs, officers in Anne Arundel County recently arrested individuals on two separate occasions in drug-related cases.

At 10 p.m. on June 11, detectives from the Northern District’s Tactical Narcotics Team executed a narcotics search warrant at 314 Old Riverside Drive in Anne Arundel County. Officers recovered about 4.08 grams of heroin with an estimated street value of $490 and $734 in cash.

Dawn Christina Inocencio, 36, was arrested and charged with controlled dangerous substance possession -- not marijuana.

On Thursday, officers from the Eastern District Tactical Patrol Unit retrieved $2,160 worth of heroin and $220 worth of marijuana while checking a suspicious vehicle and four people in a parking lot in Glen Burnie.

Officers made the following arrests and charged the suspects with CDS distribution and possession.

  • Vernell Jamore Williams, 23, of Annapolis
  • Marcus Ravon Johnson, 23, of Annapolis
  • Joseph Alexander Lusk, 22 of Edgewater
  • Michael Covington Elliot, 20, of Prince Frederick

A 3003 Audi A6 and $210 in currency was also seized.

In total, the heroin confiscated by police officers equalled over $2,500 in value.
