One officer on the scene confirmed that the helicopter flying over Edgewater near Pike Ridge Road at Solomons Island Road was looking for the suspect(s). A witness at the Wawa next door to the M&T Bank said that shortly after 2:30 p.m. the police all converged on the bank at the same time.

"They were everywhere," the witness said.

Edgewater Patch will follow up with details when they are made available by police.
