A new business specializing in biker clothing and accessories is hosting its grand opening from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, featuring food, refreshments and more.
Renegade Classics of Annapolis, owned and operated by Edgewater residents Ken and Lois Welsh, is a new business that hopes to serve the “huge concentration of bike riders in the area.”
“[Renegade Classics] is a service that’s needed around here," Lois Welsh said. "We’ve got such a huge concentration of bike riders. We’ve been getting great feedback from people who say, ‘We’re so glad you’re here.'"
Ken and Lois Welsh have been living in Edgewater since 1999, have been married for 30 years and are excited to see their business grow. They already have 78 likes on their Facebook page.
Starting at 8 a.m. Saturday, the new business will host its grand opening and will run all the way to 8 p.m.
Located at 3180 Solomons Island Road, suite 101, Renegade Classics of Annapolis will even have Bayside Bull barbecue pit beef sandwiches for its patrons from about 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
About 98 percent of its merchandise has arrived, so the owners welcome all bike lovers to check out their stock of boots, gloves, helmets, saddlebags and other accessories.
