Police: Annapolis Coach Killed in Edgewater Bike Wreck
Patricia Cunningham, 50, was riding her bicycle on the southbound side of Riva Road when she collided with a minivan collided on August 22. Her injuries were fatal.

Davidsonville Country Market to Close Forever on Friday
A Davidsonville institution, the market closed for good on August 23 after the owners were unable to renegotiate their lease the their landlords.

3 Women Injured in Shady Side Dog Attack
Police said a pit bull/Labrador mix injured three people, and was then taken by animal control.

6-Year-Old Girl Assaulted During Attempted Robbery in Lothian
The girl was struck by a would-be-robber when she tried to end his assault on her mother, according to police. Her assailant was later arrested.  

Muddy Creek Road Collision Sends 3 to Shock Trauma
All three patients were flown to Shock Trauma with serious but non life-threatening injuries.

Anne Arundel County police tased the unofficial mayor of Edgewater, 48-year-old mentally disabled William “Boogie” Lawson Jr., in his home last week after he fled the scene of a police incident. Police have reportedly apologized.
