Edgewater, Davidsonville Calendar: April 2013 Events

The Nina Beck Memorial Golf Outing will be held on April 12.

Little Angels Calendar Voting
Begins April 8

Cast your vote for the cutest baby and decide who will appear in the Little Angel’s Calendar, which benefits the neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) at Anne Arundel Medical Center.

Nina Beck Memorial Golf Outing
April, 12
Where: Renditions Golf Club
Details: The Nina Beck Memorial Golf Outing raises money for the Advanced Heart Failure Fund at MedStar Washington Hospital Center.

Volunteer with the West/Rhode Riverkeeper
April 13, 9 a.m. to noon
Where: Beverly-Triton Park
Details: Join West/Rhode Riverkeeper and the Anne Arundel Public Water Access Committee and clean up old trash dumps in Beverly-Triton Park.

Tiger Trot
April 13
Where: Central Elementary School
Details: The PTA hosts an annual 5K and fun run for the school’s largest fundraiser.

Kids Consignments Sale
April 21-22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Where: Kids Consignments
The store will cease its regular operating hours on April 20, and then hold a sale on April 21 and 22 before closing for good.

April 25
Where: Southern High School
Details: ArtQuest is the largest, most community inclusive, professionally juried student art exhibition in the state of Maryland.

Blessing of the Bikes
April 28
Where: Stan and Joe’s Saloon
Details: The event is done with a local chapter of Hogs for Heroes and will raise money for the Wounded Warrior Project

Dirty Paws Dog Spa Referral Campaign
All Month
Where: Dirty Paws Dog Spa
The client who provides the most referrals will win an iPad mini.

Register for SRHS Relay for Life
When:  All Month
Where: South River High School
Relay for Life at South River High School is set to kickoff on June 7, and organizers are asking area residents to get involved in the fight against cancer.
