DESCRIPTION:Every July\, The Summit School offers a month-long academic a
 nd recreational  summer camp program for children enrolled at Summit and
  in the community  at-large. Children entering grades 1-8 experiencing d
 ifficulty in  reading\, written expression\, math or organizational skil
 ls are eligible  for this full-day camp session.\nThe morning is devoted
  to academics\;  afternoon sessions include drama\, arts\, swimming\, wa
 ter activities\,  horseback riding\, field trips\, and many other recrea
 tional activities.  In addition\, intensive academic workshops are offer
 ed to help upper  elementary students build specific skills in written e
 xpression or  expand their skills to include creative writing.\nThe 2012
  Summer Program will run from July 2 - July 27\, 8:30am-3pm. It is close
 d for the July 4th holiday. Extended care is available until 5pm for an 
 additional fee.\nMorning Academics include:\n\n19 hours of READING\n19 h
 ours of MATH\n19 hours of ORAL LANGUAGE and EXPOSITORY WRITING\n\n&nbsp\
