BGE sincerely thanks each and every one of its 1.2 million residential and business customers for their patience and understanding through BGE’s massive restoration efforts following the widespread and devastating effects of Hurricane Irene. We thank you for taking the time to prepare for this major storm – your careful planning made it possible for all of us to manage the impact of Irene – one of the most damaging storms in our nearly 200-year history. And, we thank you for doing your part and reporting outages. By doing so, you helped ensure that we restored power as quickly, safely and …
BGE wants to thank our customers for their patience and understanding as we continue our Hurricane Irene restoration efforts. Dear Honorable John Leopold, Anne Arundel Couny Executive: It seems to me that the "voices" of the residents were not heard at the most recent County Council hearings during the "Comprehensive Rezoning Process," especially where the doors were opened to allow the highest commercial zoning in south county rural areas and near waterways. The County will also not enforce covenants, and several in Edgewater have been broken-- the holder of the covenant has to raise the funds to go to court and sue and also probably pay for several appeals. — Joan Turek
I congratulate you on first hand news, thanks for the information on the change of Anne Arundel County Police captains. I wasn't really surprised because I knew Capt. Krampf just went to the F.B.I. Academy in Quantico, and on the other hand it is Jan. 2011, a new year and in the past no captain at Southern has lasted longer than two years, however, I believe Capt. Krampf exceeded this. Capt. Krampf, we will miss him at Southern. He really was concerned regarding Public Safety for the citizens in his district and he is to be commended along with the Patrol Officers for reducing serious and …
