strange the major roads are usually done first. they could of have a delay like a problem with theRead Moret ruck, or shortage of drivers for that area. could be any number of reasons. some valid, some not. I use to plow snow and I know things do happen.

route 214 is a state road. any road with a number is maintained by the state and not county. justRead Morean FYI there. route 2 is state, 50, 97, etc. never tried it but looks like you can report problems online. http://marylandsha.force.com/customercare/request_for_service

Really great points! I also understand that mistakes are made, it happens. However, realizing and Read Moreowning up to having made a mistake earns much more respect and trust than excuses. And we all know AA County's decision this morning was quite obviously a mistake. Unfortunately, I think this is just a symptom of a much bigger problem. Several issues I know of recently have been simply ignored, calls go unanswered, unreturned, or simply swept away with a "just go away" response.
