Meet Grammy...

A couple years ago, this special girl was dumped on a country road, and left to fend for herself.  When Grammy was found, she was way under weight, and had skin and coat issues.  And to make matters worse, Grammy was approximately 8 years old at the time, and had recently had puppies.

The kind folks at the Perfect Pet Resort took Grammy in as a foster dog, got her the vet care she so desperately needed, and nursed her back to health.  They have been trying to find Grammy a forever home for *well over a year* now, by featuring her on rescue pages, taking her to adoption events, passing out flyers, etc...  But she keeps getting over looked, in favor of puppies and younger dogs.

Grammy is very sweet and affectionate, and is extremely active for a dog her age.  But she's a snuggly love-bug, too, who wants nothing more than to just BE with people.  She may technically be a "senior", but she has a LOT of life in her and even more love to give!!

Because of her high energy level, Grammy may be better suited to a family without small children.  A family with teenagers, a single person, or a couple, who like to do outdoorsy type stuff where Grammy could tag along, would be great.  She isn't too keen on other dogs, so a home where she would be the only fur kid would probably be best.

If there is any dog out there that DESERVES a permanent home, its Grammy!  Granted, living at the Perfect Pet Resort is comparable to living in a 5 star hotel, and she's enjoyed herself there to no end, but its been too long now.  She needs the routines and activities that come with living in a home environment - she needs a family to call her own.
