Greene Turtle: 

Madeline: I thought the  cheesesteak at the Greene Turtle in Edgewater was very good! It was a celebratory cheesesteak after a week of 3 hour a day practices, Sarah and I made the South River JV Field Hockey team…we were starving. This cheesesteak had a very good taste and was very flavorful. The bread was good but could have been a little fresher. The last cheesesteak could have used a little more cheese however you will not have that complaint at the Greene Turtle. This cheesesteak had an overwhelming amount of cheese on it. Don’t get me wrong, I am not complaining. I liked it but I can see how some people might not like that much cheese. Overall I give it a  4.3 out of 5 on our top-secret rating scale. 

Sarah: Our second stop on the Chowdown was the Greene Turtle in Edgewater.  After the final 3 hours of South River Field Hockey tryouts, I was starving and the Turtle did not let me down. I can't even count the number of cheese steaks I have had at the Greene Turtle, Edgewater. When in doubt, go to the Turtle. They use A LOT of cheese, which I love, but it was all laying on the top of the steak. This made it hard to eat and depending on where I took a bite, I got either all cheese or all steak. It was not greasy though and the texture and quality of the steak was good. The roll was fine, but nothing special. I will continue to come back to the Turtle for their cheese steaks over and over! Overall I give it a  3.5 out of 5 on our top-secret rating scale. 

Hope you found this helpful. We promise we will (eventually) try all the cheesesteaks in Edgewater. We are taking in slow.  We don't want to burn out on cheesesteaks. Two down, 26 to go!!!
