The other morning my husband woke me with his version of morning "Taps." GET UP!

I seldom remember my dreams, but he woke me in the middle of a good one. I wanted to take my pillow to the computer, plug it in, press play and watch my dream again.

Normally, my pillow acts like my hairdresser. I wake up each morning with a new "do." How does a pillow do this anyway? It teases, gives your hair a wind blown look, and all sorts of other looks.

Then I started thinking, our pillows serve so many functions, who as a kid never had a pillow fight? How many of us have to travel with our own pillows, the adult version of a blankie. So often we see cars with mattresses on top, just think, how many pillows are inside of that car!

There are hard pillows, (me), soft pillows, decorative pillows, nursing pillows, some restaurants seat you on the floor on top of pillows, so many uses for pillows.

As all of you know, us ladies tell our hairdressers everything, if only my pillow could talk! However, the pillow creed is, what's said to us in the middle of the night, stays with us. Perhaps, this is why we keep our pillows forever, they catch so many of our dreams. Now, if they could act like pillow genie's and make these dreams come true, I would wake up on the cover of a hair magazine and the next time you are at your hairdresser, you'll be picking out my bed head style for your new spring "do"
