What's the Story Behind Muddy Creek's Pink Pole?
Do you know? Because I sure don't.
Despite my best efforts, I've come to admit that some people will always know the Edgewater and Davidsonville area better than myself.
When it comes to being a newsman, I learn a lot of cool things, but there are some stories that still elude me—that's where you all come in.
Last week, I asked Patch readers what the deal was with the brightly colored house on Central Avenue near Wharfside Bar & Grill. Now, my question pertains to a certain pink pole down in south county.
So can you help me?
What's the story behind the pink telephone pole on Muddy Creek Road in south county?
Have you seen it? Help me out by commenting below.

I'm not completely certain, but I believe there used to be a roadside cross right around there that I haven't noticed lately. Maybe it replaced that?

I've seen it but have no idea...I myself was wondering why it is pink. Maybe for breast cancer awareness?

There was a girl that died there in a car accident 20 or 30 years ago.
