UPDATE: Man Dies After Car Crashes into House
A Harwood man was killed on Feb. 16 after the car he was driving crashed into a home in Hillside Avenue. Police said Ryan Douglas Anderson, 20, of Harwood succumbed to injuries sustained in the crash at 9:02 p.m. on Feb. 16.
Man Sought in Connection to Stolen Credit Card
On Feb. 19, Anne Arundel County Police released a surveillance photo of a man wanted in a credit card theft in Annapolis. Police said the man shown in the photo may have used the credit card at the CVS store at the 2600 block of Riva Road.
Police Arrest Three in Edgewater After String of Robbery Attempts
Anne Arundel County police arrested three Glen Burnie men in a string of robbery attempts in the Hanover and Severn area on Feb. 4. Officers found the men at a marina in Edgewater.
Boy, 12, Seriously Injured in Dirt Bike Crash
A 12-year-old boy was seriously injured on Feb. 23 after the dirt bike he was riding collided with a van on Friendship Road. Police said the cause of the crash appears to be driver-error by the boy, who was illegally operating the dirt bike in the roadway.
Crews Battle Car Fire on Route 50
Firefighters battled a car fire on Route 50 East near the exit for Davidsonville Road on Feb. 28. It took just one engine to battle the blaze and no one was injured.
