Do you love hand-made quilts and home furnishings?
A Lothian couple is opening their shop to the community from Friday to Sunday to show off their fine work and invite residents to check out their highly sought-after quilts.
As part of their second annual “Open House & Quilt Sale,” Richard and Georgina Fries—owners of Bellwether Dry Goods—are offering a hands-on experience with some of their finest creations. Great for a bed or interior design, the Fries’ quilts have been featured in publications throughout the region including Patch, The Baltimore Sun and The Washington Post.
Light refreshments will be included in the open house, and buses are welcome as well, according to the Bellwether’s website.
The open house takes place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 137 Bayard Rd., in Lothian. Interested in attending? Call 410-867-0665.
