Police Seek Man in Armed Robbery of High's
Police said a man used a handgun to steal cash and cigarettes from the convenience store in Galesville.
A man stole an undisclosed amount of money and cigarettes from a High’s Dairy Store in Galesville on Sunday morning after he showed a handgun to store employees, according to a police press release.
Anne Arundel County police responded at 5:51 a.m. to the 4700 block of Muddy Creek Road in Galesville for a report of an armed robbery at the High’s store. When officers arrived, they spoke with several store employees who said a man entered the store, showed a gun and demanded money, according to the release.
The armed man then took an undisclosed amount of cash and some cigarettes then ran away. Officers searched the area but were unable to locate the suspect, according to the release.
