We were at the Mayo Road stoplight on Solomons Island Road when the blimp crossed the highway in front of us.

The Navy blimp came to Edgewater on Saturday, landing at Lee Airport near the intersection of Mayo and Solomons Island roads around lunchtime. Traffic slowed and many people simply stopped, got out of their cars, and shot photos or video of the blimp's landing.

Navy beat Army, 27-21, at Saturday's game that was held at FedEx Field in Landover.
