Five Questions with SRHS Athlete Tiffany McKinney

Tiffany McKinney is a senior on the South River High girls basketball team.

 

Patch stopped by South River High School on Jan. 31 and spoke with senior Tiffany McKinney, 17, about her basketball career and life at SRHS.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What is your favorite South River basketball memory?
Tiffany McKinney: Playing in the Broadneck game during the second round of the playoffs when I scored the winning basket.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: How is your season going so far and what are your expectations heading into the postseason?
McKinney: Our season is going good. We’re still undefeated in the county and our expectations are to beat Northeast.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What other groups or activities do you participate in at South River High School?
McKinney: I do outdoor track.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch: What was your favorite class at South River and why?
McKinney: Chemistry because I like my teacher Mrs. McKernan. She helped me a lot and it was really fun.

Edgewater-Davidsonville Patch:What are your plans after high school?
McKinney: To go to a four-year college for track at either Towson or the University of Maryland.
