5 Things To Know This Week: Free Food, Art Show

Chick-fil-A and IHOP will give away free breakfast this week.

1. National Pancake Day at IHOP

IHOP is located in the Village at Lee Airpark
Details: IHOP will celebrate National Pancake Day with free short stacks for all customers. The restaurant also hopes to raise $220,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s (LLS) Maryland Chapter.

2. SRYA Spring Soccer Registration is Open

Where:
Riva Area Park
Details:
South River Youth Athletics (SRYA) has opened online registration for its spring soccer season. Visit www.SRYA.org to sign up to play.

3. Chick-fil-A Free Breakfast Thursdays
When:
6:30-10 a.m. Thursday
Where:
Chick-fil-A
Details:
Customers who say “The early bird gets the chicken” at the register will receive a free pre-selected breakfast entree.

4. Scholarship for Scholars Deadline
When:
Friday
Where:
South River High School
Details:
Completed applications for Scholarship for Scholars are due to the counselors’ secretary by Feb. 8.

5. Art Show To Honor Former Summit School Student
When:
2-5 p.m. on Sunday
Where:
Severna Park Community Center.
Details:
The Elizabeth Carr Memorial Fund, which honors a former Summit School student, has organized an art auction featuring art work from children at Johns Hopkins.
