3 Hospitalized in Central Avenue Crash

A grey Honda and blue Mercedes collided on Central Avenue West on Tuesday evening.

A car accident on Central Avenue West on Tuesday sent three people to Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore, according to the Anne Arundel County Fire Department.

Fire spokesman Lt. Cliff Kooser said firefighters and paramedics responded to the 500 block of Central Avenue West at about 5:45 p.m. Tuesday. Upon arrival, they found three people with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Paramedics transported a 52-year-old woman, a 42-year-old woman and a 14-year-old girl to the Shock Trauma Center in an ambulance, Kooser said.

Judging by photos from the incident, it appeared a grey Honda and a blue Mercedes struck one another in a head-on collision. However, Kooser said he could not confirm any details about the incident.
